Job description

About the role
As a Technical Product Manager - Order Management Systems (OMS), you will make an impact by driving product strategy, platform value realization, and business outcomes across order management, fulfillment, dispensing, and delivery capabilities. You will be a valued member of the Product and Technology team and work collaboratively with engineering leaders, product teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to align platform investments with strategic objectives.
In this role, you will:
  • Own and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OMS-related platforms supporting Pharmacy and Front Store operations.
  • Translate complex engineering initiatives into clear business narratives, executive-level communications, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) that demonstrate platform effectiveness, customer impact, operational improvements, and value realization.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement across order fulfillment, orchestration, inventory visibility, dispensing, and delivery workflows.
  • Develop executive presentations, value stories, and strategic recommendations that connect platform capabilities to business objectives.
  • Support Agile and SAFe planning activities, including PI planning, roadmap development, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.

What you need to have to be considered
  • 6+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, or a related role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Order Management Systems (OMS), including order orchestration and fulfillment platforms.
  • Experience defining, measuring, and reporting KPIs, business outcomes, and value realization metrics.
  • Strong understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, delivery workflows, and end-to-end order lifecycle processes.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused communications for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, operations, and business teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe frameworks, PI planning, and roadmap management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Experience within Pharmacy, Retail, Healthcare Retail, or Front Store operations.
  • Background in product strategy, product marketing, business storytelling, or go-to-market planning.
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience optimization and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Experience linking platform investments to cost optimization, revenue growth, and business value outcomes.
  • Ability to develop executive-level dashboards, reporting frameworks, and strategic business cases.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $ 115,000 - $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
