Job description

Join a family-owned and operated dealership known for exceptional service and community values for over 20 years. Mike Carpino Ford Parsons is looking for a friendly, organized Customer Service Representative to support both our front desk and parts/service department. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly. 

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk/Administrative Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and maintain a clean, welcoming dealership environment
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them to correct department, and take accurate messages
  • Process payments for customers
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, scheduling, and data entry
  • Prepare and reconcile daily deposits as needed
  • Create, review, and process invoices accurately as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for customer-facing transactions
  • Support the accounting and service departments with basic clerical tasks

Parts/Service Representative Duties

  • Schedule service appointments for customers
  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and ordering correct parts
  • Look up parts pricing and availability
  • Create and process parts invoices, special orders, and returns
  • Maintain organized parts storage
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries to assure customer needs are handled to best abilities.
  • Establish follow up time
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized and detail-oriented
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, retail, or automotive parts/service experience is helpful but not required
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent
