We're looking for an Ambassador to join our team at Uplands, a vibrant master-planned community designed to bring neighbors together through exceptional amenities, beautiful outdoor spaces, and engaging community events. In this role, you'll serve as a welcoming first point of contact for residents and guests while helping oversee The Club, resort-style pools, fitness center, parks, walking trails, and community activities.

What You'll Do

Resident-Centered Service

  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting residents and guests and ensuring every interaction is professional, friendly, and solution-oriented.
  • Answer questions, provide assistance, share information about community programs and amenities, and help residents with registrations as appropriate.

Amenity Oversight & Accountability

  • Monitor interior and exterior amenity spaces, including The Club, pools, fitness areas, and surrounding grounds, to support a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Verify access when needed, help ensure residents and guests follow facility guidelines, and promptly report concerns or maintenance needs to the management team.

Initiative & Problem-Solving

  • Anticipate resident needs, identify potential issues before they become larger problems, and take appropriate action within established procedures.
  • Respond to customer service concerns with tact and poise, respectfully address policy issues, and escalate situations when additional support is needed.

Community Programs & Administrative Support

  • Assist with resident events, programs, activities, amenity tours, and facility rentals, including setup and post-event checks as requested.
  • Support administrative needs such as calendars, printed materials, displays, data entry, inventory, ordering, and reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Customer service, front desk, recreation, hospitality, facility oversight, or similar experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • This is a part-time, onsite position based at Uplands in Puyallup, Washington
  • Flexible availability is required Monday through Sunday; shifts are typically scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ambassadors are scheduled on an as-needed basis, and a minimum number of hours per week is not guaranteed
