Job description

Scope of Work: This position will provide primary application and functional/technical support for the Procurement module in Oracle R12 (current state) and Oracle Cloud (future state) as well as backup support for financial modules in Oracle R12 (current state) and Oracle Cloud (future state). Typical duties include:
  • Perform application troubleshooting, patch testing, and application testing, including the development of test plans and test cases
  • Prepare Requirement Analysis and Solution Design documents as directed
  • Attend all requirements gathering sessions to understand business requirements of current state vs future state Procurement and financial modules
  • Ensure the application meets the usability requirements of project stakeholders
  • Maintain configuration and process documentation, as well as training documents as needed
  • Coordinate with business group for process improvements
  • Coordinate with business to evaluate upgrades and technology opportunity improvements
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly application health checks for data and application integrity
  • Maintain enterprise data through change review process
  • Help with troubleshooting of access and application issues.
  • Provide 1st or 2nd level support for application and/or process issues
  • Perform application functional user and process flow documentation
  • Provide primary production support for Procurement modules in Oracle R12 (current state) and Oracle Cloud (future state) and backup support of Financial modules such as (Expense, Projects, and Grants, CPMS, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst and/or technical/functional experience in the areas of Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite R12), Oracle Cloud, or another comparable ERP system
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Below are preferred experiences, knowledge, or skills for the candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems
  • Proficient and/or familiar with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), Oracle Cloud ERP, or Primavera/CPMS (Capital Project Management System)
  • Ability to evaluate current business processes and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Experience extracting, querying, and analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Data Loaders
  • Familiarly/Experience working with Oracle Support - monitoring and logging SR's/ Service Request.
