Senior Applications Specialist | Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Senior Applications Specialist – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a full‑time, day‑shift position responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of ERP systems across the organization. The role requires strong project management, systems integration, and application support skills to ensure high‑quality patient‑care technology solutions.

Location & Schedule

Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana
Schedule: Day Shift – 8 Hours, Full‑Time – 40 Hours
After successful on‑site onboarding, candidates may have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work arrangement based on performance and leadership discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Application Support & Optimization
    • Provide high‑quality customer service and end‑user support, including configuring applications, building system tables/dictionaries, creating user access, and troubleshooting issues.
    • Monitor service requests and system functionality, identify problems and root causes, and lead efforts to resolve issues and improve system performance.
    • Collaborate with end users to implement, optimize, and maintain application systems and content.
  • Project Management & Implementation
    • Serve as project manager for the implementation, support, and integration of healthcare information systems.
    • Participate in system planning, design, build, testing, training, and go‑live activities.
    • Manage work plans, timelines, and project tasks while coordinating with users, vendors, and leadership.
  • Systems Integration & Workflow Improvement
    • Translate clinical and operational needs into functional system requirements.
    • Assist with development of system interfaces, workflow design, table mapping, and specification development.
    • Conduct integrated system testing and apply quality management principles to ensure system reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and issue management skills.
    • Support change management and production system updates.
    • Stay current with healthcare technology trends and pursue professional development opportunities.
Job Specific Duties
  • Provide high quality customer service and end‑user support, including configuring applications, building system tables/dictionaries, creating user access, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with consistent follow‑through and timely escalation to vendors and leadership.
  • Identify problems, probable causes, and impact on operations; lead the effort to find solutions and determine the optimal course of action.
  • Apply project and implementation skills, including planning, design, build, testing, end‑user training, and cutover activities.
  • Manage work plans, tasks, and timelines; facilitate group projects toward successful completion.
  • Assume full ownership of outcomes, multitask, and prioritize using critical decision‑making skills.
  • Understand integration between modules and the impact of changes; assist with interface development, design, workflow, specification development, and table mapping.
  • Excellent communication with hospital and clinic workflow stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, or related field, OR 5+ years of healthcare IT or related industry experience.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning.
  • Current Oracle Fusion certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including implementation of software application systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism.
  • Solid understanding of personal computers and common software applications (such as Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with hospital or clinic application systems.
  • Experience with Meditech and/or Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience supporting software application implementation and optimization.
  • Familiarity with database structures, reporting tools, or data management systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and clinical operations.
