Job description

About the Company

Aberdeen Advisors is hiring an experienced Oracle Cloud WMS & Fusion Functional Consultant to support critical warehouse and logistics operations as part of an active business transformation initiative. Our client operates in a regulated environment and is investing in scalable, modern warehouse solutions across shipping, logistics, and inventory operations.

About the Role

Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud WMS / Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant to support critical warehouse and logistics operations for one of our clients undergoing an active business transformation. You'll be the functional authority on Oracle Warehouse Management — configuring, integrating, and optimizing processes across inbound, outbound, shipping, and inventory workflows. This is a hands-on role. You'll partner directly with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable warehouse solutions and measurable operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimize Oracle Cloud WMS and Oracle Fusion (Inventory, Shipping, and Warehouse modules) to support live warehouse operations
  • Own functional design across inbound, outbound, and inventory transaction flows — including cost and receipt accounting impacts
  • Integrate and troubleshoot shipping middleware (XCarrier, Digital Shipper) and consolidation/cartonization processes (e.g., Packsize)
  • Support warehouse automation initiatives, including AGV integration
  • Drive full SDLC participation: planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation
  • Operate within SOX, HIPAA, and ITIL compliance frameworks
  • Manage critical deliverables with precision in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise systems experience, including 7+ years hands-on with Oracle Cloud WMS / Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Inventory, Shipping, and Warehouse modules
  • In-depth command of warehouse and logistics workflows and their accounting impacts
  • Proven experience in regulated environments (SOX, HIPAA, ITIL)
  • Strong track record in system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and process optimization
  • Hands-on experience with shipping middleware (XCarrier or Digital Shipper)
  • Experience with consolidation and cubing/cartonization (e.g., Packsize)
  • Exposure to AGV integration and warehouse automation
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder presence

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

  • Agile PI Planning experience in Jira
  • Oracle Cloud SCM/WMS certifications
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), EDI, and warehouse automation technologies
