An Oracle Data and Reporting Lead (Senior Manager) providing executive-level leadership for enterprise data strategy, reporting, and analytics across large-scale Oracle Cloud transformations. This role owns the reporting and analytics vision, governance, and delivery across Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), ensuring insights align with business strategy, financial integrity, and regulatory requirements.

At the Senior Manager level, the role operates as a trusted advisor to CFO, CIO, Controller, FP&A, COO, and Program Leadership, balancing strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on oversight of complex reporting and analytics delivery.

Enterprise Data & Reporting Strategy

  • Define and execute a holistic enterprise data and reporting strategy that positions Oracle Cloud technologies (ERP, EPM, FDI, OAC) within the client's broader organizational data ecosystem-spanning data warehouses, data lakes, and third-party BI platforms.

  • Articulate how Oracle's reporting and analytics capabilities (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS, Smart View, FDI, OAC) integrate with and complement enterprise data platforms, ensuring Oracle is the authoritative source of record while enabling downstream analytics consumption.

  • Shape the client's overall data vision by advising on data architecture decisions-including Oracle's role as a transactional and analytical data source, data mesh or hub-and-spoke models, and the boundaries between Oracle-native and enterprise-wide reporting layers.

  • Establish enterprise reporting and KPI standards spanning statutory, management, operational, and executive analytics, ensuring consistent metric definitions across Oracle and non-Oracle data sources.

  • Lead reporting and analytics rationalization efforts, including legacy decommissioning, simplification, and migration to Oracle-native and modern analytics solutions.

Latest Oracle Reporting Capabilities & Technology Adoption

  • Maintain deep, current expertise in Oracle's latest reporting and analytics innovations, including Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Intelligent Performance Management, and Oracle's AI-embedded reporting features.

  • Advise clients on Oracle's evolving reporting roadmap-including AI-augmented analytics, natural language querying, automated narrative insights, and embedded machine learning within Oracle Cloud applications.

  • Lead the adoption and deployment of Oracle's newest platform capabilities, including FDI subject areas, pre-built KPI frameworks, and Oracle Analytics semantic modelling, ensuring clients extract maximum value from Oracle's latest investments.

  • Drive standardization and reuse of Oracle-delivered content and seeded analytics to minimize customization, reduce technical debt, and align with Oracle's strategic direction.

  • Evaluate and guide the use of Oracle AI Services and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data capabilities where they extend the value of ERP/EPM reporting and analytics.

  • Maintain advanced, hands-on proficiency across Oracle's full ERP and EPM reporting toolset-including OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, and Account Reconciliation-ensuring transactional and statutory reporting excellence.

  • Define the reporting architecture boundary between Oracle ERP/EPM transactional reporting (descriptive analytics) and AI-powered prescriptive and predictive analytics layers-providing clients with a clear framework for when to use which capability.

  • Lead the design and deployment of AI-augmented analytics solutions built on Oracle FDI and OAC, incorporating predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, and prescriptive recommendations to move clients beyond traditional financial reporting.

  • Advise on the use of Oracle's embedded AI and machine learning capabilities within Oracle Cloud Financials (e.g., intelligent payment predictions, expense anomaly detection, cash forecasting) and how these integrate with broader enterprise analytics strategies.

  • Establish governance frameworks for AI-generated insights, ensuring data lineage, model transparency, metric reconciliation, and auditability standards are maintained across both Oracle-native and AI-driven analytics outputs.

  • Partner with Data Science and AI/ML teams to extend Oracle data assets into enterprise AI platforms, enabling use cases such as predictive close timelines, working capital optimization, and demand-driven financial planning.

C-Suite Advisory on Reporting Toolsets

  • Serve as the executive-level advisor to CFO, CIO, Controller, and FP&A leadership on the optimal composition of the enterprise reporting technology stack-balancing Oracle-native tools, enterprise BI platforms, and AI-augmented analytics.

  • Provide structured, outcome-driven guidance to C-suite stakeholders on toolset selection trade-offs-including Oracle OTBI vs. FDI vs. OAC vs. third-party platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)-aligned to total cost of ownership, business capability needs, and strategic architecture principles.

  • Advise the CIO on Oracle reporting architecture integration patterns, including how FDI and OAC connect with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS), and where Oracle-native reporting ends and enterprise BI begins.

  • Lead executive storytelling and enablement sessions, translating complex Oracle reporting architectures into clear business value narratives for board-level and C-suite audiences.

  • Define analytics value cases and success metrics (e.g., reduced manual reporting, faster close insights, improved forecast accuracy) to secure executive sponsorship and justify analytics investment decisions.

Program & Workstream Leadership

  • Own the reporting and analytics workstream across complex, multi-pillar Oracle programs (ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM).

  • Define and enforce reporting governance, design standards, and delivery methodologies across functional teams.

  • Coordinate dependencies across chart of accounts, dimensional design, Subledger Accounting, data conversion, and integrations.

  • Ensure reporting and analytics readiness across SIT, UAT, parallel close, and go-live phases.

Fusion Data Intelligence Leadership

  • Lead adoption and deployment of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence as the enterprise analytics layer for Oracle Cloud data.

  • Oversee FDI architecture, including Fusion data pipelines, subject areas, semantic models, and KPI frameworks.

  • Ensure alignment between FDI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and transactional reporting solutions.

  • Lead design of FDI-powered executive dashboards supporting CFO-, COO-, CIO-, and business-unit-level decision-making.

  • Define data governance, metric ownership, and reconciliation standards to ensure FDI insights align with GL and subledger reporting.

Controls, Compliance & Financial Integrity

  • Ensure reporting and analytics solutions support internal controls, auditability, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, statutory reporting).

  • Lead reconciliation strategies across legacy systems, Oracle subledgers, general ledger, and FDI analytics outputs.

  • Establish auditability and data lineage standards for AI-generated and FDI-driven insights to satisfy internal audit and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with Internal Audit and Risk teams to address reporting-related control considerations.

Team Leadership & Firm Contribution

  • Lead and mentor managers, consultants, and offshore teams across reporting and analytics workstreams.

  • Set delivery standards, coach emerging leaders, and build scalable reporting and analytics capability.

  • Contribute to firm methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership related to Oracle reporting, analytics, and AI-driven financial insights.
