Oracle Enterprise Solution Architect - Mid Market, L7

Location: Remote

You Are:

The Oracle Solution Architect leads solution design and deal shaping for medium-to-large opportunities, supporting systems integration, application development, data migration, governance, application maintenance, and infrastructure support engagements. This role partners with sales, engineering, delivery, and business teams to create scalable, outcome-driven Oracle solutions that help clients accelerate cloud transformation, modernization, AI adoption, and business value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Presales

  • Translate client requirements into scalable Oracle solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead solution planning, estimation, staffing, pricing inputs, scope definition, and business case development.

  • Support RFIs/RFPs and executive presentations.

  • Develop solution roadmaps, implementation approaches, proofs of concept (POCs), pilots, and reusable assets.

  • Collaborate with sales, architects, engineers, and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.

Client Advisory

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops, design-thinking sessions, and value realization discussions.

  • Advise clients on cloud transformation, modernization, integration, data, analytics, automation, Business AI, and Generative AI opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities to embed AI-driven insights and intelligent business processes within Oracle solutions.

Engineering & Innovation

  • Apply structured problem-solving, rapid prototyping, and innovation-led thinking to solve client challenges.

  • Promote reuse of accelerators, reference architectures, automation frameworks, and best practices.

  • Evaluate emerging Oracle, cloud, AI, and integration technologies and their business impact.

  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, reusable assets, and thought leadership.

Leadership

  • Support sales, client, and marketing events.

  • Mentor Solution Architects and contribute to capability development.

  • Share best practices and maintain relevant certifications.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Oracle project delivery experience, including Oracle SaaS Cloud or Oracle NetSuite with strong functional and integration exposure.

  • Minimum of 5 years of solution planning, pre-sales, and deal-shaping experience, including RFPs, estimation, staffing, pricing, and executive presentations.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud transformation or cloud implementation programs.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design activities including ability to convert business requirements into executable architecture and engineering solutions.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle modules, integration, and end-to-end business processes.

  • Knowledge of Oracle methodologies, best practices, and clean-core principles.

  • Experience with ERP and / or HCM.

  • Familiarity with custom design & development (example: reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions).

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, estimation, and presentation skills.


Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Experience leading large-scale Oracle transformation programs.

  • Expertise in value-based selling and business case development.

  • Experience creating accelerators, automation assets, reusable frameworks, and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Knowledge of Oracle AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agile, and DevOps practices.

  • Contributions to accelerators, reusable frameworks, thought leadership, or innovation initiatives.
