About the Role: Looking for hands-on Oracle GRC E-Business Solution Architect with the ability to bridge functional, technical, and compliance domains. This role demands both strategic thinking - across architecture, design, and solution evaluation & execution, including development, configuration, and remediation work. You will play a key role in remediating SOX Material Weaknesses and strengthening our ERP control environment, while driving ongoing solution delivery across core business cycles: Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. Success in this role requires a solution architect mindset combined with the capability to personally design, develop, and deploy Oracle EBS solutions that address complex business needs and embed robust internal controls.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Oracle EBS Solution Architecture & Functional Delivery
    • Lead end-to-end solution design and deployment across Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, with deep cross-module knowledge.
    • Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and design sustainable, control-embedded solutions that drive efficiency and compliance.
    • Resolve complex functional and technical issues, ensuring system reliability and audit readiness.
    • Document business processes, control points, and risks; create functional specs and user guides.
    • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Audit, and business users to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
    • Provide functional support during period close, audits, upgrades, and critical cycles; deliver user training and enablement.
  1. Technical Development & Integration Architecture
    • Deliver high-quality RICEWR components using PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, BI Publisher, Forms/OAF, and concurrent programs.
    • Design integrations with systems like Agile PLM, Salesforce, eCommerce, Vertex, RevPro, Kinaxis, ADP, and banking platforms.
    • Build robust interfaces using web services, file-based methods, and middleware (e.g., OIC) with strong error handling and validation.
    • Optimize performance via SQL tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis; resolve multi-module integration issues.
    • Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, well-documented, and adheres to standards.
  1. Controls, Compliance & Audit Support
    • Embed preventive and detective controls into Oracle EBS processes (e.g., SoD, approvals, reconciliations, audit trails).
    • Design and implement solutions aligned with SOX, ITGCs, and application control requirements.
    • Partner with auditors during SOX audits; provide technical documentation, evidence, and walkthrough support.
    • Remediate control deficiencies via automated workflows, exception reporting, and reconciliation tools.
    • Build automated evidence generation, monitoring dashboards, and one-click audit documentation tools.
    • Maintain up-to-date control narratives, technical specs, and compliance reporting.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12.x experience as a Solution Architect or Techno-Functional Lead, spanning Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, R2R, Projects, and Revenue Recognition
  • Expertise in solution architecture, custom development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements - RICE/ Configurations, Customization, Extension, Modification, Localization, and Integration - CEMLI), and integrations using PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, Workflows, Approval Management Engine (AME), Forms, OAF, BI Publisher, and web services
  • Strong background in integrating external systems (PLM, CRM, MRP, Manufacturing, Finance) with reconciliation and error handling
  • Deep knowledge of ITGCs, application controls, and SOX compliance, including SOD, audit trails, reconciliations, and automated reporting
  • Proven ability to collaborate with auditors, remediate control gaps, and implement sustainable compliance solutions
  • Core strengths: architect-level thinking with hands-on execution, analytical problem-solving, clear communication, and adaptability in compliance-driven environments
  • Preferred: Oracle EBS and IT audit/security certifications, experience with GRC tools, and background in regulated industries or public companies
