Job Description

Title : Middleware and OBIEE Administrator

Location : Plymouth, MN          

Duration : 8+ months or C2H

Typical tasks are: 

Manage BI Apps WebLogic services. 

Manage BI Apps services (OBIEE start/stop, Performance tuning). 

OBIEE configurations/changes. 

Patching of BI Apps. 

Support development team with code deployments. 

Knowledge of scheduling ODI jobs. 

Trouble shooting of failed BIApps out box ETL and custom ETL loads. 

Use monitoring tools such as OEM to assess health of vital systems. 


Major responsibilities: 

Be an effective team member of the eBiz HIX team in supporting Vermont HIX project. 

Collaborate with teammates, clients and other teams to identify and address systems problems, provide input and resolve issues. 

Participate in performance tuning exercises, analyze root cause and recommend changes. 

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to work independently with minimal guidance. 

Keep leadership apprised of current issues. 



Qualifications

Required Skills:

Strong hands on experience in Installation, configuration, patching and administration of Oracle Business Intelligence products together known a BIApps (OBIEE , ODI (ETL), BI Publisher) 11g including WebLogic application server across clustered development, test and production domains . 

Experience with migration process of OBIEE, ODI and BI Publisher components. 

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) ETL tool Admin skills including master and work repository configurations. 

Excellent knowledge of SQL. 

Familiarity with Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.6 (SOA). 

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required. 

Excellent written and verbal communication.
