Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Control, including version 13c.
  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle WebLogic 12c/Fusion Middleware.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle APEX administration and support.
  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle DB migration from Solaris to Linux (database 12c/11g).
  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle database backup/restore/RMAN/Data Guard.
  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management.
  • 10+ years of experience with on-call production support.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azure administration.
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows/SQL Server/IIS administration.
  • Experience with Oracle database 19c and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services.
  • Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies.
  • Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions.
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations.
  • Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, providing timely support.
  • Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management.

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in Oracle technologies such as OCIP, OCP, or OCE.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
  • Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control for monitoring and management.
