Responsibilities - Architect, implement, and maintain robust Oracle RAC and GoldenGate 23AI environments for high availability and disaster recovery. - Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization for large-scale Oracle databases to ensure optimal system performance. - Execute seamless upgrades and migrations of Oracle RAC and GoldenGate environments, including Dataguard configurations. - Develop and maintain shell and Perl scripts to automate routine database administration tasks. - Manage on-call pager duty rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. - Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Toad, and SQL Developer to monitor, maintain, and enhance database performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable database solutions. - Document processes and mentor junior DBAs to foster team growth and knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Experience - 10+ years as an Oracle DBA in large-scale UNIX environments. - Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including multi-master replication setup and management. - In-depth proficiency in Oracle RAC support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Proven experience with Oracle 19c, Oracle 23AI, and GoldenGate 23AI upgrades and configurations. - Strong skills in building and supporting Oracle Dataguard environments. - Shell scripting and Perl development for automation. - Proficient in using OEM, Toad, and SQL Developer.
