Job Summary:
Centric Software is a global leader in providing an innovative product-concept-to-commercialization platform for various industries. The PLM Pre-Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving the sales process by demonstrating the business value of Centric's PLM solutions and collaborating with customers to envision transformative operational changes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead product demonstrations that align with customer workflows, data, and strategic objectives
• Conduct engaging discovery calls to identify customer challenges and opportunities
• Analyze customer business processes, systems, and organizational context
• Translate customer requirements into compelling solution narratives and user stories
• Identify gaps and propose scalable, value-driven solutions
• Document discovery findings, scope decisions, and opportunity artifacts
• Create demo scripts, tailored datasets, and presentation decks
• Configure and personalize PLM to reflect best practice use cases
• Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to deal strategy and positioning
• Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, assumptions, and services estimates
• Build ROI models to quantify business impact/ value proposition
• Contribute to marketing initiatives including events, webinars, and presentations
• Develop internal training materials and deliver training sessions
• Participate in product updates: translate, document, and communicate relevant changes into new business processes/ use cases
• Conduct IT architecture and HW&SW requirement discussions, including hosting options
• Deliver high-impact, C-level presentations focused on business outcomes
• Facilitate 'Art of the Possible' sessions to expand deal scope and vision
• Drive alignment across business and technical stakeholders
• Elevate deal value through strategic thinking and solution positioning
• Partner with cross function business unit presales teams to deliver E2E strategies, demos & use cases
• Partner with Product Management to provide market and customer feedback
• Support Marketing initiatives (webinars, thought leadership, demos)
• Contribute to post-sales activities when needed to ensure continuity and success
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong business process understanding across PLM, Planning, ERP, or Supply Chain
• Deep expertise in R&D processes in Food and Beverage or Cosmetics or Private Label Management at Grocery retail
• Proven ability to map business process to software capabilities
• Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving ability
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
• Ability to manage complex customer engagements with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally if necessary
• Experience working across product development, structural packaging, artwork design and regulatory compliance
• Strong domain expertise with Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) including - Grocery Retail, Food & Beverage or Cosmetics
• Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or enterprise software delivery
Preferred:
• Practical background in using PLM or adjacent enterprise systems strongly preferred
• Demonstration and solution configuration experience preferred
• Technical Skills are a plus: AI Experience, XML programming, HTML, JavaScript, Databases (Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle)
