Job Summary

The II/RPS Technology organization is seeking a skilled Senior-level Business Analyst. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, interpret, and leverage data to improve business processes and drive strategic business decisions. To succeed in the role, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and business analysis, and be intellectually curious.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and translate business needs for new and enhanced products, services or optimized business processes.
  • Participate in all phases of project lifecycle to ensure business requirements including detailed data requirements are understood, documented and met.
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, architecture, applications, platforms, and services.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
  • 2 years of experience with gathering, documenting, and analyzing system specifications and requirements, testing concepts, SDLC Processes (Agile Scrum, Waterfall), and Visio.
  • 2 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Autosys, SQL DB Visualizer, Cloud Snowflake, S3; and database concepts for DB2 and Oracle, as well as solution delivery experience migrating on premise legacy systems to a cloud design.
  • 2 years of experience with formulating and implementing test strategies.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
