Job description

Title: Oracle Fusion Technical Solutions Architect
Location: Lawrenceville, GA (Onsite only)
Duration: Long Term

 

Position Description:
This role will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting all technical aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The architect will own technical configurations across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, and HCM, evaluate quarterly releases, determine their impact, and coordinate the required testing and validation with business teams.

The role includes providing technical guidance to team members, collaborating with the implementation partner and business stakeholders, and ensuring that project deliverables align with business processes and IT standards. We are looking for someone with deep Oracle Fusion Cloud expertise, strong ERP implementation and long-term support experience, and excellent leadership and collaboration skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 15+ years of overall ERP administration experience
• 10+ years as a Solutions Architect for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM and/or HCM
• Strong experience with configurations, custom fields, and fast formulas in Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Solid understanding of integrations with other Fusion modules and third-party systems
• Experience leading full lifecycle projects (requirements, design, testing, roll-out)
• Strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion data dictionary and object relationships
• Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative communication skills
• Desire and ability to mentor other engineers

Preferred Experience:
• Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related configurations
• Expertise with security roles and workflow setup in Oracle Fusion
• Strong business acumen in Finance/HR/Payroll combined with deep IT knowledge
• Demonstrated initiative to stay current on technology advancements
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities:
• Own technical configurations, fast formulas, custom fields, and performance of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
• Review quarterly Oracle Fusion releases and patches, assess impact, and coordinate testing with business teams
• Lead end-to-end testing of fixes/enhancements, including test plans and test scripts
• Design and create custom security roles, and perform regular security audits
• Proactively monitor Fusion performance and architecture to ensure reliability, integrity, and recoverability
• Collaborate with internal IT, third-party vendors, and Oracle on environment maintenance, refresh schedules, and outages
• Design and implement best practices for administration, reliability, and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
• Troubleshoot Fusion-related issues and work with Security, Network, Service Desk, and vendors to drive resolution
• Write functional/technical specifications for integrations and custom peripheral applications
• Document system requirements and process flows
• Mentor and train technical team members managing Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Support OCI configurations, SSO, data encryption, SSL certificates, and related technical duties as assigned
