Job description

The ERP Applications Manager provides technical leadership for the organization's enterprise systems, including Oracle ERP and UKG Workforce Pro (Kronos). This role is accountable for system performance, integration, reliability, and overall system health. 

The role operates within a hybrid support model: 

Oracle ERP is supported through a decentralized structure, with functional analysts embedded in Finance, HR, and Supply Chain 

UKG Workforce Pro is centrally managed within this team 

This position directly manages Technical Analysts and is responsible for the technical success of both platforms. For ERP, the role supports and facilitates governance processes, decision-making, work intake, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring standardized processes and system integrity across departments. For UKG, the role maintains full ownership of system configuration, support, and associated hardware. 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Finance, HR, or related field required 
  • Master's degree preferred 
  • 7+ years of ERP system experience (Oracle, Kronos, or similar) 
  • 2-3+ years of leadership or team management experience required 
  • Experience in healthcare or integrated enterprise systems preferred 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems including HCM, Finance, and Supply Chain processes 
  • Knowledge of cloud-based enterprise applications 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making 
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Understanding of data structures, integrations, and system workflows 
  • Experience with reporting and data extraction tools (SQL preferred) 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory considerations preferred 
  • Understanding of project management principles 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Technical Leadership & System Health 
    • Own system performance, reliability, integrations, and data integrity across ERP and UKG platforms  
    • Lead release management, testing, and deployments 
    • Ensure system monitoring, issue resolution, and proactive maintenance 
    • Coordinate system patching, vulnerability remediation, and maintenance activities across ERP and UKG environments to ensure security, stability, and compliance 
    • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery activities for ERP and UKG platforms 
    • Communicate project status, system risks, operational issues, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders 
    • Serve as the senior technical analyst for Oracle ERP, providing advanced troubleshooting, technical analysis, solution recommendations, and escalation support for complex system, integration, and performance issues 
  • Team Leadership 
    • Directly lead and develop Technical Analysts 
    • Assign, manage, and oversee technical resources across operational support, maintenance, and project initiatives to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities
  • ERP (Oracle) - Decentralized Model 
    • Support and facilitate ERP governance processes, including work intake, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and governance committee activities 
    • Partner with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and ERP leadership to promote standardized processes and system integrity 
    • Coordinate with functional analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional impacts, maintain system integrity, and support process improvement efforts 
  • UKG Workforce Pro (Kronos) - Centralized Ownership 
    • Own end-to-end UKG system configuration, support, and optimization 
    • Oversee timekeeping hardware (clocks/badging devices), including uptime, connectivity, and lifecycle management 
    • Serve as primary escalation point for UKG system and hardware issues 
  • Projects & Delivery
    • Lead ERP and UKG-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with priorities, timelines, and technical standards
  • Additional Duties
    • Perform additional duties as required to support department and organizational goals.
