About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Functional Architect - Oracle Financials Cloud to lead large-scale finance transformation initiatives for global clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Oracle Cloud Financials modules, strong consulting capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions that optimize financial operations, enhance reporting, and support business growth.
In This Role You Will
  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Financials Cloud solution architecture across Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Cash Management, Assets, and Expenses.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, and treasury stakeholders to gather requirements and define future-state financial processes.
  • Design scalable and standardized Oracle Cloud Financials configurations that support global business operations and compliance needs.
  • Drive implementation activities including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Define integration requirements between Oracle Financials Cloud and other enterprise applications.
  • Lead system integration testing and user acceptance testing activities while ensuring solution quality and business readiness.
  • Develop functional specifications, solution documentation, process flows, and configuration workbooks.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver financial reporting solutions, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial process optimization and industry best practices.
  • Manage functional risks, support release planning activities, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor consultants and project team members on Oracle Financials Cloud capabilities and implementation methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $116,100 - $156,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
