Job Description
  • At least 4 years of experience in Mainframe application development, maintenance and testing.
  • At least 4 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, databases like DB2 and/or IMS, VSAM file handling with knowledge of Pacbase , RPP, RDZ (Rational Suite of Tools for Mainframe)
  • Exposure to ETL technologies or Oracle DB
  • At least 4 years of experience working in Mainframe environments and SQL/ DB2 databases
  • At least 2 years of experience in working Agile (SCRUM) team.
  • Good knowledge of TFS and eChange, as ticketing and release tracking systems
  • Ability to manage risks and resolves issues and interdependencies that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Ability to measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time, and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Ability to build the Release Calendar for the year in working closely with the other stake holders from different portfolios across IT with a centralized view of all releases
  • Ability to lead/ manage and provide reporting as well as meeting updates to the Senior IT Management as well as business management
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
  • At least 4 years of release and/or project management experience with strong understanding of project management principles.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Experience in Capital Markets domain, Options and Investment Management domain (Equity Trading)
  • Strong analytical, logical skills and team leading skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
