Senior Accounting Processor (Accounts Payable)
? Hybrid | Temp-to-Hire | $21.50/hour
Are you a recent Accounting graduate or currently finishing your Accounting degree and looking for an opportunity to launch your career with a growing organization? We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accounting Processor (Accounts Payable) who is eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in accounting.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level accounting professionals with internship, contract, or early-career experience who are ready to gain hands-on exposure in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.
Schedule & Work Environment
Hybrid Position
  • First 6 months: On-site Monday-Friday
  • After 6 months: Eligible for hybrid schedule with up to 2 work-from-home days per week
Compensation:
  • $21.50/hour
  • Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential
What You'll Do
  • Enter purchase order (PO) backed invoices accurately and timely into Oracle AP System and Coupa
  • Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Review vendor statements and resolve invoicing discrepancies
  • Support month-end closing activities and accrual processes
  • Prepare and upload journal entries as needed
  • Complete General Ledger account reconciliations
  • Support audit requests by retrieving invoice documentation
  • Analyze AP processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist during high-volume periods and provide support to team members
  • Research and respond to P&L inquiries from operational and finance teams
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or currently completing degree coursework
  • Recent graduate or entry-level accounting professional
  • Internship, co-op, or contract accounting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience and/or relevant education
  • Exposure to Accounts Payable functions
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Coupa, Discoverer, or similar AP systems
  • Understanding of accounting principles and SOX controls
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.50 per hour
