Our practice works to bring expertise in services covering end-to-end system implementations and technology transformations. Delivery Services (DS) 

The Delivery Services team helps clients achieve successful transformations through an integrated, human-centered approach to major projects, with an ultimate focus on a streamlined transformation journey and successful outcomes. With our broad experience, KPMG helps our clients to avoid the common pitfalls of transformation programs with practical steps and proven capabilities. Our team offers a unique bird's eye view of a project and works in collaboration with various specialized teams to ensure a smooth delivery from start to finish. We are seeking individuals that have an interest/experience in project management and working on large projects, that want to develop into experts in program and project management to accompany our clients in delivering large scale transformation programs.

As a Co-Op Consultant in our Enterprise Solutions/ Delivery Services practice, you’ll be learning from some of the best in the industry and growing your personal skillset by:

  • Configuring and developing workflow and custom apps by translating user stories into logical technical designs.
  • Engaging in hands-on development and build activities, using mainstream development platforms and low-code SaaS applications.
  • Conducting hands-on development for multi-platform integrations.
  • Participating in regular interactions with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Assisting in the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that developed solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Contributing to the documentation of technical specifications for end-users.
  • Learning and applying best practices in software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile or DevOps, to enhance project delivery.
  • Exploring emerging technologies and tools to recommend innovative solutions that can improve client operations.
  • Engaging in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participating in workshops and training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of applications, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.

What you bring to the role
  • You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, etc.) 
  • Please note that our Enterprise Solutions practice are looking to fill both technical and generalist roles. Experience in coding and computer science are a strong asset for the technical roles.  
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • You have a strong academic record 
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
  • Impeccable attention to detail, superior communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate with client stakeholders and work closely in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work in a client facing role with both technical and functional stakeholders with strong relationship management skills and a passion for client satisfaction and delivery excellence
  • Experience with any of the following languages and/or methods: Javascript, HTML and CSS, Angular JS, RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON/XML
  • Experience with other workflow technologies such as IT Service Management, Customer Service management, HR Case Management, Custom Applications preferred.
