Location: Baltimore, MD

Rate: USD 85/hr on W2 (Contract to Full Time)


Recent payer or provider healthcare claims insurance experience is required.


• Proficiency in innovating ideas and solutions resulting in tangible and measurable business outcomes.

• Mastery in creating architecture solutions within the enterprise architecture future state for technological acceleration of value outcomes, and effectively present and persuade key decision makers to invest in this acceleration.

• Develop solution options and make architecture recommendations based upon business value, complexity, cost, risk, maintainability, and strategic alignment.

• Design end-to-end solutions spanning Oracle Financials and surrounding enterprise applications.

• Serve as the principal solution architect for solutions involving Oracle Financials/E-Business Suite (EBS), including Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and associated financial-management capabilities.

• Architect solutions involving capabilities such as: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Budgets, Refunds, 1099, Accounting Hub, OCI and Financial Reporting/Analytics

• Analyze Oracle Financials capabilities against business requirements and determine whether requirements should be addressed through standard configuration, extension, integration, customization, or complementary applications.

• Thoroughly understand Oracle Financials integration capabilities with PeopleSoft HCM, Profitability & Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS), Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) and SAP Ariba


• Understand the healthcare payer business relationships among: Membership and enrollment, Premium billing, Claims processing, Provider payments, Member payments and refunds, Capitation, Risk adjustment, Government programs, Medicare, Medicaid, DSNP, Commercial business, Employer groups, Pharmacy benefits, Provider networks, Financial accounting, Regulatory reporting

• Understand the financial implications of healthcare transactions across the payer's subledger, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and financial reporting environments.

• Design solutions that accommodate the unique financial requirements of healthcare payer products, lines of business, funding arrangements, contractual relationships, and regulatory requirements.

• Understand how claims, premium, provider, member, pharmacy, and other operational systems contribute to financial data and accounting processes.

• Produce presentations for proposed solutions which provide current and future state diagrams, including their alignment with advancement in capability maturity.

• Experience contributing to portfolio rationalization and/or technical debt remediation initiatives at an enterprise level
