Job description

Provide technical support for the Accounting Deputy Controller and Assistant Accounting Deputy Controller
Establish new and/or modify reporting methods and procedures to provide effective and efficient report content
Design and query databases and financial information as needed
Design and manage dashboards for the assigned Accounting Departments
Project manager and primary lead for new implementations, upgrades, and configuration changes within the identified applications
Configuration administrator for Concur, Oracle ARCS, Oracle FCCS, and Prologue.
Collaborate with supervisors to capture and track enhancement requests to streamline and improve efficiency through completion
Recommend, develop, and maintain department projects for live and cyclical reporting
Perform system-specific programming tasks related to the General Ledger and other applications used within the Accounting Department
Train new employees in software applications
Create and maintain process documentation and job aids that standardize repeatable tasks, promote knowledge transfer, and ensure business continuity
Make recommendations for software applications to comply with new accounting standards and/or department initiatives
Lead the development of business cases for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency
Provide input in strategic planning
Maintain an organizational SharePoint for the Accounting Department and groups
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

At least 18 years of age
Bachelor's degree in accounting information systems, analytics, or managerial Information systems; 5-10 years in the Accounting or Technology Field(s) may be substituted
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems
Proficient in Microsoft 365 with a minimum of two years advanced MS Excel use
Must be innovative, analytical, and adaptive to working with various vendor applications
Data mining and report building (ad-hoc and static reporting) experience
Working knowledge and/or oversite of various applications (Concur, Prologue, Oracle applications, and/or other accounting/financial software)
Understanding of processes and proficient working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Cycles
Experience in training new hires in system applications
Must be creative and be able to collaborate with multiple departments
Good communication and interpersonal skills to translate technical issues for nontechnical staff and vice versa
Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
