Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring a junior-mid level Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer to support ongoing hiring needs for Oracle Maintenance and Financial solutions. Developers will work with scrum teams supporting solution design, functional design, business process analysis, and system integration for the federal government program environments. Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and hands-on development experience working with Oracle EBS implementations. Proficiency with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is required for consideration.
Contingency: Hiring for these positions is contingent upon program funding and approval.
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Provide hands-on Oracle EBS development to support business process and application requirements
  • Work as part of a collaborative Scrum team to deliver software configuration and development at every iteration
  • Support design, development, and break-fix activities for customer Oracle objects supporting Oracle r12 Maintenance and Financial solutions
  • Support Definition of Ready (DoR) activities by determining "ready for work items" to be slotted into a sprint
  • Support Product Owner with work breakdowns including breaking down Epics and User Stories into smaller User Stories based on functionality including:
  • Estimate Product backlog items for Epics and User Stories
  • Decompose User Stories into smaller actionable tasks
  • Support sprint planning with estimate planning including delivery-based Definition of Done and adherence to definition
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide daily reporting for status and impediments including escalating impediments
  • Maintain daily communication with Product Owner to demonstrate ongoing progress
  • Maintain project task and timeline activities using Kanban and Scrum boards
  • Support project management and maintain information in Jira
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements include (but are not limited to):
  • U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
  • Current Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of hands-on development and testing experience supporting Oracle EBS applications
  • Hands-on development experience with either Oracle EBS Financial Functional modules (AP, GL, AR, PO) or Oracle EBS Supply Chain or Maintenance Modules
  • Oracle EBS development experience using PL/SQL and/or Java
  • Experience working with Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Experience with Oracle Reporting
  • Experience with Oracle r12
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teams
  • Must be self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that offers stretch growth opportunities for continuous learning and development

Preferred experience:
  • Experience with Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
  • Experience with Oracle Maintenance, Oracle Supply Chain, Oracle Logistics, or Oracle Financials
  • Experience supporting MRO is a plus
  • Experience supporting ERP-CS is a plus
