Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Dallas TX
 

Required Technical Skills – Primary

  • Extensive experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching.
  • Storage Management Techniques
  • Configuring and Administering the Oracle 18c and 19c.
  • Oracle database Installation Pre-requisites
  • Should have good knowledge on Oracle Kernel Parameters tuning
  • Excellent hands on experience on performance analysis and tuning.
  • Managing the Database Performance using (AWR, ADDM).
  • Hands on experience on Database Cloning
  • Automatic Storage Management
  • Initialization of Parameters
  • Should have experience on Backup and Recovery Strategies planning using RMAN 
  • Extensive experience on Database patching.
  • Upgrade of Oracle Databases from 11g/12c to 18c/19c.  
  • Flash Recovery Features & Flash back query
  • Managing Alerts and Notifications
  • Database Black-out Administration
  • Cross platform transportable Tablespaces.
  • Excellent Knowledge of implementation, configuration and Data Guard / RAC (Real Application Clusters) which includes Implementation, configuration, Administration and troubleshooting issues. 
  • Knowledge of Data warehousing
  • Knowledge on Oracle Exadata / Golden gate / OEM
  • Extensive working knowledge of utilities like Data Pump, Export / Import.

  • Prior experience of working in a DevOps / Agile environment will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge on ITSM tool – JIRA
  • Knowledge on Cloud technologies like - Azure or AWS
