You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

 

Work You'll Do

As a Project - Consultant, Technical Transformation on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for supporting automation, data, and finance transformation activities that improve audit readiness and business process execution.

  • Support the design and implementation of artificial intelligence and automation solutions that reduce manual effort across finance and business processes
  • Analyze end-to-end processes, including procure to pay, order to cash, budget to report, acquire to retire, plan to stock, and hire to retire, to identify opportunities for standardization and automation
  • Support data mapping from source to target systems and assist with data conversion, migration, and transformation activities
  • Help automate data entry, interface error handling, data validation checks, and workflow routing and approvals
  • Support Oracle ERP implementation, data integration, interoperability, and financial feeder system activities in a federal finance environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 2+ years of experience supporting automation, data, or business process transformation initiatives
  • 2+ years of experience working in a federal finance environment
  • 2+ years of experience supporting data mapping, data conversion, data migration, or transformation activities
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations, data integration, interoperability, or financial feeder systems
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience supporting procure to pay, order to cash, budget to report, acquire to retire, plan to stock, or hire to retire processes
  • 2+ years of experience supporting artificial intelligence or workflow automation solutions
  • 2+ years of experience supporting data validation, interface error handling, or approval workflow activities
  • 2+ years of experience supporting audit readiness or internal control initiatives
  • 1+ years of experience working with federal financial management systems
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,700 to $140,600.
