Job Summary: The Oracle Cloud EPM Manager will lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing administration of Oracle Cloud EPM applications. This role will drive adoption and continuous improvement to maximize platform value, promote bestpractice standards, and is critical in ensuring seamless financial system integrations, particularly in the context of acquisitions. The manager will collaborate with finance, IT, and external partners to ensure that financial systems and processes are robust, scalable, and evolves in line with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and Configuration:

    • Lead the implementation and/or evolution and configuration of Oracle Cloud EPM applications including FCCS, EPBCS, EPMCS, EDMCS, Freeform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.

    • Manage the financial system integration process during acquisitions, ensuring accurate data migration and system harmonization.

    • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define system requirements and create detailed implementation plans.

    • Ensure that all financial processes and reporting requirements are accurately reflected in the system.

  • System Maintenance and Support:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance as well as the monthly releases of the Oracle Cloud EPM applications.

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Cloud EPM issues, working closely with Oracle support when needed.

    • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Analyze current financial processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.

    • Develop and implement best practices for the use of Oracle Cloud EPM in financial operations.

    • Ensure that the financial system architecture supports scalability and future growth, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

    • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud EPM features and recommend their adoption to enhance system capabilities.

  • Training and Documentation:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they are proficient in using the Oracle Cloud EPM applications.

    • Develop training programs specifically tailored to address changes and integration post-acquisition.

  • Systems and Financial Data Compliance

    • Develop and refine control protocols for financial systems and data to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.

    • Oversee the implementation, performance, and outcomes of 52-109 financial system controls to ensure they meet regulatory standards.

    • Facilitate collaboration with the 52-109 compliance program and coordinate with both internal and external auditors to ensure alignment and compliance.

    • Lead the creation, documentation, validation, and compliance efforts for new 52-109 controls, working closely with the 52-109 compliance program team

  • Team Management and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance system professionals to ensure high performance and engagement.

    • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to drive team excellence.

    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development.

    • Identify and address skills gaps within the team and provide training and development opportunities to support career growth.

    • Manage team resources effectively to balance workload and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA title, master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud EPM or any other top performance management systems, with a strong focus on consolidation, FP&A and governance.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management.

    • Confirmed experience in leading ERP/EPM implementations and managing ongoing system maintenance.

    • Strong background in financial systems and accounting principles, with experience in post-acquisition financial integration.

    • Proven track record of effectively managing people, driving team performance, and fostering a positive work environment

  • Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud EPM applications or any other top performance management systems, particularly for consolidation and FP&A.

    • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and project management.

    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, speaking and writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other finance applications such as Workiva and ProLease.

  • Experience in the finance, insurance or technology sectors.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

Working Conditions:

  • We offer a hybrid working model with three days a week onsite for this position.

  • This position may require occasional travel to various company locations.
