Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Lead
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Lead with our client that is fully remote.
Job Description:
  • Seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Lead to assume primary functional responsibility for the Oracle GovCloud ERP workstream.
  • This is a senior, hands-on production support and functional leadership position.
  • The resource will be expected to independently manage ERP functional support, resolve complex production issues, work directly with Finance and business stakeholders, optimize existing Oracle configurations and processes, support quarterly releases and SOX controls, and prepare the ERP environment for future Phase 2 capabilities.
  • The individual must be comfortable assuming an existing functional workload and becoming the primary Oracle ERP functional subject matter expert supporting the production environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assume day-to-day functional ownership of the Oracle GovCloud ERP workstream.
  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 functional production support.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex ERP issues.
  • Review existing configurations and identify implementation gaps or design deficiencies.
  • Support Oracle GovCloud Accounting, Procurement, Cash Management, PPM, Project Management and related financial processes.
  • Support project costing and project financial management processes.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud functional solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, workflows, extensions and enhancements.
  • Partner with Oracle technical resources to design and validate solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize functional production issues and enhancement requests.
  • Open, manage and escalate Oracle Service Requests.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial processing.
  • Lead business-process optimization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual processes or unnecessary customizations with Oracle-native Cloud functionality.
  • Maintain functional configuration, Visio diagrams and business-process documentation.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge documentation.

Job Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or related field. Concentration in human resources, business or technology-related discipline preferred. Alternatively, an additional 4 years (15 years total) of directly applicable full-time working experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years or Oracle Cloud technical development experience is required. Additional required experience includes:
  • Strong Oracle Procurement experience.
  • Strong Oracle Projects/PPM experience.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules and integration.
  • Significant post-production Oracle Cloud support experience.
  • Experience with Oracle quarterly updates.
  • Experience with UAT and regression testing.
  • Experience developing functional specifications.
  • Experience supporting SOX 302/404-controlled business processes.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded organizations.
  • Ability to independently manage a production ERP functional workload.
