Position Overview

Oracle Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. This full-time position, based remotely, focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic care to individuals grappling with mood disorders. You will be instrumental in delivering tailored mental health services that significantly enhance the well-being and functionality of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder, on client daily functioning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their specific needs, aspirations, and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat patients.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, outlining treatment strategies and empowering them with self-care techniques.
  • Track client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize therapeutic efficacy based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a synchronized and holistic treatment plan for clients.
  • Stay informed of the latest clinical practices and research in mood disorders, ensuring that our treatments are updated and evidence-based.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment sessions, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in case consultations and training programs to refine your skills and remain acquainted with best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Advocate for client needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mood disorders in community discussions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety-related issues. You will engage with a diverse clientele, utilizing sensitivity and respect to create a trusting therapeutic alliance necessary for effective treatment. Your work will contribute to the improved mental health outcomes of these individuals, allowing them to lead healthier, more productive lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • At least two years of post-licensure counseling experience with a strong focus on mood disorders.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, including CBT and DBT.
  • Solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills designed to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or outpatient clinic.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and reporting.
  • Previous involvement in community outreach programs or advocacy for mental health awareness.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 โ€“ 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus.
