What is an Oracle Certified Junior Associate?

An Oracle Certified Junior Associate (OJA) is an entry-level certification offered by Oracle that validates foundational knowledge of Oracle technologies, such as databases, Java programming, or cloud infrastructure. This certification is designed for students and beginners who are new to Oracle products and want to demonstrate their understanding of basic concepts. Earning an OJA can help individuals start a career in technology by providing them with a recognized credential from a leading technology company. It also serves as a stepping stone toward more advanced Oracle certifications.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Oracle Certified Junior Associate?

To thrive as an Oracle Certified Junior Associate, you need a foundational understanding of database concepts, SQL, and Oracle Database architecture, typically validated by passing the Oracle Certified Junior Associate (OCA) exam. Familiarity with Oracle Database tools, SQL Developer, and basic database administration commands is expected. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help you troubleshoot issues and collaborate with team members. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring efficient database management and supporting business data needs in real-world environments.

Additionally, managing time across multiple projects and balancing ongoing learning with daily responsibilities can be demanding, but these experiences are valuable for professional growth within database administration.

Job description

Moore Family Law Group isn’t your standard small firm. We are a high-growth, high-impact legal team dedicated to protecting clients’ financial legacies and personal well-being during life’s most turbulent transitions. We’ve traded the traditional "law firm grind" for a culture of efficiency, intensive mentorship, and genuine appreciation.

If you are a junior attorney looking to move past document review and standard research pipelines, this is your opportunity. We’ve built a workspace where young talent is actively developed, hard work is rewarded, and professional growth is accelerated.

Compensation:

$110,000 - $175,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a sharp, driven, and ambitious Junior Associate Attorney ready to build a premier foundation in family law. You won't be hidden in a back office, buried in paperwork. From day one, you will work side-by-side with seasoned Senior Associates and Certified Family Law Specialists (CFLS). You will receive direct, hands-on mentorship, learn our proven litigation strategies, and gradually take the reins on your own cases within our highly streamlined, supportive workflow.

Key Responsibilities & Growth Track

  • Direct Mentorship: Co-counsel alongside senior attorneys on complex, high-asset property divisions and custody disputes.

  • Skill Development: Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery under close guidance, rapidly progressing to representing clients in hearings and depositions.

  • Client Engagement: Run initial client strategy sessions alongside senior team members, learning how to act as a steady, authoritative voice during intense emotional challenges.

  • System Mastery: Learn to utilize our firm’s advanced, established workflows to practice law efficiently without administrative chaos.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in California family law (or civil litigation with a strong desire to pivot to family law).

  • Drive to Learn: A sharp legal mind with an appetite for feedback, professional development, and long-term career growth.

  • Credentials: Licensed to practice in California and in good standing with the State Bar.

  • Cultural Fit: A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values a workplace that celebrates wins together.

Why Moore Family Law Group?

  • A True Growth Runway: We are expanding rapidly. We want to train you today to lead your own department tomorrow.

  • Top-Tier Support: Work alongside highly skilled paralegals who help you manage the administrative heavy lifting.

  • Vibrant Culture: We take clients' futures seriously, but we value a healthy, fun, and collaborative day-to-day work environment.

Ready to elevate your legal career under the guidance of top-tier advocates? Apply today to join the Moore Family Law Group team.
