Lynx is seeking a highly motivated and solutions-driven Oracle Fusion Reporting & Analytics Developer to join our growing team.  In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions that empower business leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including ERP, HCM, SCM, or EPM, along with strong technical expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) SQL, and data modeling.  This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to transform complex data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.

Day in the Life:

The Oracle Fusion Reporting and Analytics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, and/or EPM) environment. This role translates business requirements into scalable reporting assets, ensures data accuracy, and integrity, and supports ongoing optimization of analytic capabilities to improve decision-making across the organization. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Oracle transactional reporting tools, data models and reporting utilizing Oracle BI tools, OTBI, BIP, and SmartView.

  • Designs, develops, tests, and maintains reports and dashboards, and analytics using Oracle Fusion Reporting tools such as OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), BI Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), SmartView, and FRS.
  • Develops and maintains complex data models, subject areas, KPIs, and dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Creates and maintains SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and data validation routines.
  • Designs custom dashboards and DPIs to support executive and operational reporting.
  • Develops and maintains HCM, Financials, SCM, and Payroll reports within Oracle Fusion.
  • Builds and supports data integrations between Oracle Fusion and external systems using: FBDI, HDL, REST/SOAP web services, BIP bursting.
  • Optimizes report performance and ensures data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborates with functional leads to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoots reporting issues, data discrepancies, and configuration dependencies across modules.
  • Collaborates with Oracle Support on service requests related to BI, OTBI, or data model issues.
  • Performs impact analysis related to quarterly Oracle updates.
  • Ensures data integrity, security, and compliance with internal controls and governance standards.
  • Documents technical specifications, data mappings, report logic, and change management records.
  • Establishes documentation standards, naming conventions, catalogs, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Assists end users with functional navigation, report scheduling, output formatting, and interpretation of results.
  • Participates in system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.
  • Stays updated on Oracle Fusion reporting enhancements and best practices.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience building reports and analytics in Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, or EPM).
  • Hands-on expertise with OTBI and BI Publisher, including XML templates, data models, and BI logic.
  • Experience managing report security, roles, and permissions within Oracle Fusion.
  • Additional directly related experience beyond the minimum requirement may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or FRS/SmartView reporting.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud data structures, subject areas, and functional setups.
  • Familiarity with financial, HR, procurement, or supply chain business processes.
  • Experience supporting ERP Cloud quarterly updates and regression testing.
  • Background in public sector or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational data models.
  • Proficiency in OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and/or HCM modules.
