Job description

BY Title: Enterprise Solution Architect - Transportation Management Systems
Location: Virtual within the US
Travel is expected within the US at 50% - 75%
Scope of role
Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the lead end to end Architect in Execution vertical with emphasis on Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems and good understanding of Network analysis/Transportation Modeling for customers across the Americas region.
The ESA partners with executive customer stakeholders translate business strategy into scalable solution architectures while orchestrating multiple functional workstreams spanning Transportation Management (BY TMS), and Execution interoperability including Blue Yonder Network (BYN), Warehouse Management (WMS).
Overview
In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Execution space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will be the functional liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.
What you'll do
  • Drives end-to-end solution design across Transportation business processes, interoperable workflows, integrations and Cognitive Agentic AI components
  • Acts as the solution authority for complex, transformational programs
  • Leads business process analysis, solution design, and deployment execution including Order collaboration, Transportation planning, Transportation Execution, in-transit visibility, Financials and Reporting
  • Influences customers on industry's and agentic AI best practices and design
  • Collaborate to evolve integration strategy and ensure seamless data/process flow across solutions
  • Ensures successful go-live through validation, issue resolution, and data integrity checks
  • Serves as the primary liaison across project stakeholders (PMs, architects, executives, clients)
  • Acts as a Project and Practice mentor to BY associates
  • Identifies and drives incremental revenue opportunities within existing engagements
  • Supports effort estimation, resource planning, and business value impact assessments

What we are looking for
Industry and Product Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of specific implementation experience working within BlueYonder's Transportation Management solution.
  • Knowledge in Execution based workflows between Transportation, Warehousing and visibility solutions.
  • Knowledge in Planning and Transportation interoperable workflows is preferred
  • Transportation Modeling and Logistics Procurement implementation experience
  • Experience with these systems is preferred either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale TMS implementations, including complex, multi-phase transformation initiatives.
  • Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, Manhattan or SAP may be considered

Skills:
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
