Job description

CP Unlimited is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With programs spanning residential, clinical, day, and community-based services across the New York Metropolitan area, CP Unlimited uses technology and data to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and outcomes for the people it supports.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle & Reporting Analyst to join our enterprise technology team. This role will focus primarily on Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data integration while supporting broader Microsoft data and automation strategy.

The Oracle & Reporting Analyst will design, develop, maintain, and improve reports, dashboards, KPIs, data models, and automated workflows using Oracle Fusion reporting tools, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and related cloud technologies. This position will work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Procurement, Clinical Services, Operations, Quality, Compliance, and Executive Leadership. The successful candidate must be able to meet with business stakeholders, understand operational requirements, translate those needs into technical solutions, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

This role requires a curious and adaptable learner who can quickly develop expertise in new Oracle and Microsoft cloud technologies while helping CP Unlimited build a scalable, secure, and data-driven reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop reports, dashboards, extracts, and scheduled outputs for Oracle ERP, Financials, HCM, Payroll, Procurement, Expenses, Time and Labor, Learning, and Talent Management.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support reports using Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle HCM Extracts, and Oracle Smart View where applicable.
  • Create complex queries, data models, bursting configurations, templates, and scheduled reporting processes.
  • Develop executive, financial, workforce, payroll, procurement, and operational dashboards.
  • Validate report results against Oracle transactional data and approved business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues involving security roles, data access, subject areas, scheduled processes, and report performance.
  • Support Oracle quarterly updates by testing reports, dashboards, extracts, integrations, and dependent business processes.
  • Document Oracle reports, data sources, calculations, dependencies, and security requirements.
  • Work with application administrators and business owners to ensure reports follow appropriate role-based access controls.

KPI and Dashboard Development

  • Partner with organizational leaders to define meaningful KPIs, scorecards, and performance measures.
  • Develop dashboards that provide actionable insight into financial performance, workforce trends, payroll and timekeeping, procurement activity, program operations, clinical and quality outcomes, compliance, and service-delivery performance.
  • Translate complex business information into clear visualizations for executives, managers, and operational teams.
  • Establish consistent definitions, calculations, filters, and reporting standards for enterprise KPIs.
  • Review dashboard usage and stakeholder feedback to improve performance, relevance, and usability.
  • Support executive-level reporting and detailed operational analysis.

Microsoft Fabric and Enterprise Data Platform

  • Develop and support data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build and maintain Fabric workspaces, warehouses, data pipelines, dataflows, notebooks, semantic models, and Direct Lake solutions.
  • Develop scalable data models that support reporting across multiple business departments.
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing processes.
  • Monitor data refreshes, pipeline performance, failures, and data-quality issues.
  • Work with technical teams to establish secure and reliable data connections between enterprise systems.
  • Assist with AI-enabled analytics, natural-language reporting, and predictive insights where appropriate.

Power BI Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and semantic models.
  • Create reusable datasets and governed enterprise reporting models.
  • Develop calculations and business logic using DAX and Power Query.
  • Implement row-level security and other access controls where required.
  • Optimize report performance, refresh schedules, model design, and user experience.
  • Support executive dashboards, operational scorecards, financial reporting, and workforce analytics.
  • Promote appropriate self-service reporting capabilities while maintaining data governance and security standards.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted reporting capabilities where they provide measurable value.

Business Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Meet with business users to understand reporting challenges, operational processes, and decision-making needs.
  • Gather, document, validate, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, data models, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to identify the underlying business need rather than only reproducing existing manual reports.
  • Present solutions, findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, timing, data availability, and system limitations.
  • Facilitate report reviews, demonstrations, user-acceptance testing, and sign-off.
  • Build trusted relationships with departments throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience and relevant certifications may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in enterprise reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, application development, or a related field.
  • Experience developing dashboards and semantic models
  • Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications and reporting platforms.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
  • Microsoft Purview, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Python, Git or another source-control platform, Oracle REST Data Services, Oracle Visual Builder, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Tableau, Microsoft Copilot, AI and machine-learning concepts, and healthcare or human-services data standards
