Surgical Technologist - Outpatient Surgery Center

Location: Seattle, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shift (06:45 - 17:15) M-F, variable days, no holidays

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our Outpatient Surgery Center team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings, with a particular focus on ambulatory procedures. The role requires expertise in various surgical techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and management of the surgical environment and instruments.
  • Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate safe and efficient surgeries.
  • Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
  • Manage surgical equipment and document use per protocol.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mixed inpatient/outpatient ambulatory surgical settings.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Washington State Surgical Technologist License required.
  • Experience with ALCON Unity machine preferred.
