What are Optometry Techs?

Optometry Techs, also known as optometric technicians or assistants, are healthcare professionals who support optometrists in providing eye care services. Their duties often include conducting preliminary eye tests, assisting with patient exams, maintaining equipment, and managing patient records. They help ensure that eye examinations run smoothly and efficiently, allowing optometrists to focus on diagnosing and treating patients.
