What You'll Do:
Welcome and prepare patients for exams, collect medical histories, and record vital signs
Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations and procedures
Perform phlebotomy, collect and label lab specimens, and conduct routine lab tests
Administer specified medications and injections as directed
Provide wound care and patient education on medications and preventive care
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Perform basic diagnostic X-rays and support administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and patient follow-up

Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a current NHA Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA required)
2 years working as a Certified Medical Assistant and 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (must provide official certification card)
Valid Alabama Driver's License & Insurable Driving Record
Minimum Requirements:
