Job description

An optometry practice is looking for a full time and part time front desk receptionist. We are looking for someone who is motivated, a quick learner and has a go-getter attitude. Candidate should also be personable, dependable, honest, efficient and customer service oriented. Must be able to handle constructive criticism
Part time position and must be able to work Monday-Saturday; 30-35 hrs/week
BEING ABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS IS A REQUIREMENT
Duties Include:
Answering phone calls
Scheduling appointments
Verifying and claiming insurance
Working up patients; performing preliminary exams
Working with and entering information into an EMR; electronic medical record system
-entering exam information, demographics, paperwork and appointments
Keeping the office area clean and tidy
Providing excellent customer service
Clear and concise communicator
ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST
TAKING INITIATIVE IS A MUST
Experience is not required, but candidate must be a quick learner
