Optometric Technician


Part-Time or Full-Time Position Available (Monday-Saturday)


Location: Southwest Las Vegas (Buffalo and 215 freeway)

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care and support our optometrists in providing excellent vision services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preliminary eye tests and measurements
  • Assist with contact lens fittings and patient education
  • Maintain patient records and schedule appointments
  • Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
  • Pull vision insurance authorizations and explain benefits
  • Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries


Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in healthcare or optometry preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Fun and outgoing personality
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus


Office Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM


Work Location: In person
