Optométriste

Are you ready to take your career in optometry to the next level? This is a family-owned, private practice with multiple locations throughout Indiana, dedicated to providing full-scope, comprehensive optometry services in a supportive environment. With advanced technology and a dedicated team, you can practice how you want while serving a diverse patient population. They want you to thrive professionally and personally, offering a comprehensive pay and benefits package.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Base salary plus performance-based production bonus (annual pay range of $150,000.00 to 162,000.00)
  • Mon-Fri
  • Full health insurance coverage for the doctor
  • 401(k) plan with a 4% match
  • Paid dues for the Indiana Optometry Association and AOA
  • Two weeks of paid time off plus two personal days
  • Seven paid holidays (in addition to PTO)
  • Paid malpractice insurance
  • Continuing education support, including covered hours and paid attendance

This family-owned practice utilizes cutting-edge equipment like Optomap, OCT, autorefractors, scleral lens fitting sets, and visual field units. They also operate five anterior segment lasers and two IPL dry eye instruments, ensuring comprehensive patient care. They prefer in-person appointments, with complete exams scheduled every 30 minutes and follow-ups every 15 minutes, resulting in 14-18 patient encounters daily. They offer a dedicated staff, including front desk personnel, optometric technicians, opticians, and an office manager, who work collaboratively to provide exceptional eye care while supporting the doctors.

  • Diabetic Eye Health Examinations with reporting to managing physicians
  • Emergency Eye Health Examinations for urgent conditions
  • Contact Lens Fittings & Evaluations for various types of lenses
  • Co-management of Cataract & Other Refractive Surgeries

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
