Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and infections.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers for patient referrals and co-management.
  • Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in optometry and ocular disease management.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
