Job description

We’re a busy optometry office located in Greenwood Village, CO, and we’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Our staff is passionate, professional, and dedicated to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll serve as both the first and last point of contact for our patients. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience throughout their visit.

This position involves direct patient interaction, collecting payments, scheduling follow-up appointments, entering charges, and processing billing claims to vision insurance plans.

Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Greeting and checking in patients
  • Checking out patients and collecting payments
  • Scheduling appointments and follow-ups
  • Answering incoming phone calls and responding to inquiries
  • Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Submitting billing claims to vision insurance plans
  • Accurately entering charges and patient information
  • Providing general front desk support as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
