Experience with electronic health records (EHR), autorefractors, lensometers, and scheduling software is highly beneficial. Job description

Full-Time Optometrist NeededBroadway Eye Clinic | Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Do you love advanced clinical technology as much as you love working with patients? Our growing practice is looking for a motivated, reliable Optometrist who wants to be part of a collaborative medical team and make a real difference in patients' vision and quality of life.

At Broadway Eye Clinic, we practice eyecare that goes well beyond the routine eye exam. You'll play a central role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients using some of the most advanced tools available in optometry today—all within a professional, well-supported clinical environment.

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week.

Experience Required (and supported)

You must hold a valid Utah optometry license (or be eligible to obtain one) and have a strong clinical foundation. That said—we don't expect you to know our systems or specialty protocols on day one. We provide structured training, mentorship, and ongoing support so you feel confident, capable, and set up for success in every area of our practice.

Some of Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Performing comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing/managing ocular disease and vision conditions
  • Utilizing advanced technology such as Neurolens, Forma-I, IPL, LLLT, and myopia management protocols
  • Spending meaningful one-on-one time with patients to assess visual health, discuss findings, explain treatment options, and set expectations
  • Managing dry eye disease, binocular vision dysfunction, and other specialty conditions
  • Working closely with our aesthetic team, technicians, and support staff to coordinate whole-person patient care
  • Overseeing vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation cases as applicable
  • Accurately documenting exams and treatments and following established clinical protocols
  • Educating patients on eyewear, contact lenses, and recommended treatment plans
  • Participating in ongoing training and continuing education (offered and expected)
  • Being a positive, reliable team member who contributes to a calm, welcoming patient experience
Skills Required – If These Sound Like You
  • You genuinely enjoy helping people and take pride in your clinical work
  • You are attentive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • You communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally with patients and teammates
  • You're comfortable with advanced technology and enjoy learning new tools and techniques
  • You have strong clinical judgment and know when to ask questions or collaborate
  • You're dependable—you do what you say you're going to do
  • You don't believe in “that's not my job” and are always willing to help where needed
  • You value teamwork, consistency, and high standards of care
