Job description

Join a spectacular team as a Mobile Optometric Assistant, working alongside skilled Optometrists in nursing homes! This role offers the chance to make a real difference in people's lives while staying on the move. Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the daily roster and prepare Optometry Exam charts for each resident to receive care.
  • Communicate and document schedule changes (cancellations/refusals, etc.) in collaboration with nursing staff.
  • Hands-on measurement, fitting, and repair of eyeglasses, ensuring residents look and feel their best.
  • Assist the Optometrist during clinical examinations.
  • Capture fundus images and submit them for review by the Optometrist.
  • Organize and electronically submit all essential documents to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Respond proactively to inquiries from office staff and show your team spirit!

Pay and Benefits:

  • Get rewarded with a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on your experience.
  • Gas/mileage and tolls will be reimbursed for travel.

Work Schedule:

  • Enjoy a balanced workweek with 4 days of action (Monday to Thursday).
