Join Essentia's accomplished team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where you can enjoy the beauty of 465 lakes offering endless opportunities for water sports and outdoor activities. Located just 125 miles north of Minneapolis, these vibrant cities are at the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, a premier vacation destination in the state.
Education Qualifications:
  • BSN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing is required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years previous RN experience in an OR or PACU setting.

In this vital role, you will partner closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care and patient support services. You will play a key role in ensuring that care provided meets established standards, promotes optimal patient outcomes, and supports organizational quality and safety goals.
What You'll Get to Do in This Role:
  • Partner with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, manage, and evaluate nursing care and daily operations within our Surgical Services department.
  • Ensure streamlined and effective patient care delivery systems that support smooth transitions across the continuum of care.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain an efficient and high-functioning unit.
  • Drive clinical excellence through participation in departmental goal-setting and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support financial stewardship through effective operational and resource management.
  • Facilitate orientation, training, ongoing education, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, team-based environment that promotes clinical excellence and compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
  • Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
