SEO Specialist

Position Summary

The SEO Specialist is responsible for increasing organic traffic, search visibility, and revenue across the Company’s e-commerce websites. This role works closely with marketing, merchandising, and development teams to optimize product, brand, category, and site content while supporting traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered shopping experiences.

Responsibilities


·         Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and revenue.
·         Optimize product, brand, category, and website pages for search visibility and conversions.

·         Conduct keyword research and identify growth opportunities across brands and product categories.
·         Monitor rankings, traffic, and search performance while providing recommendations for improvement.

·         Work with marketing and development teams on new products, brands, site updates, discontinued products, redirects, and other SEO-related initiatives.
·         Manage technical SEO requirements including indexing, redirects, structured data, and site health.

·         Ensure website content and product data are optimized for Google, Bing, AI search, and AI shopping platforms.

·         Help manage and improve a large catalog consisting of hundreds of brands and thousands of products.

·         Stay current on search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging AI search technologies.
Qualifications

Required


·         Experience working with an e-commerce retailer, online marketplace, or consumer brand.
·         Experience managing SEO for large websites or product catalogs.

·         Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
·         Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, and SEO platforms.
·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred


·         Experience managing large product catalogs and structured product data.
·         Experience with schema markup and technical SEO implementations.
·         Familiarity with AI-powered search and shopping platforms.
