Job description

Sales Associate/Optician

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Sales Associate/Optician for its South Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: repair, adjust & dispense prescription lenses and frames. Measures and fits all eye wear. Takes measurement and evaluates patients for assistance in lens design. Files paperwork to insurance. Completes daily sales and receipts. Prepares bank deposits, working with MD's and OD's to ensure that patients receive proper eye wear in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise.

Education: High School Diploma or GED/HiSET

Certification/License: ABO certified preferred, not required.

Day: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience: Two years of optical industry experience preferred, but not required. On the job training available.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
