Adventure Dental & Vision Optician Opportunity

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, KS, is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription
  • Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments
  • Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes
  • Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings
  • Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting
  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Job Qualifications
  • At least one year of previous experience as an optician
  • ABO certification a plus
  • Experience and interest in working with children
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
