POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Strategic Market Analysis supports the Global Business Intelligence function by leading market research, competitive intelligence, industry analysis, and strategic insight development for B2B industries. This role supports transformation market data into actionable business recommendations that support growth initiatives, product strategy, commercial planning, and executive decision-making. The position works closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and Finance teams to identify opportunities, assess market dynamics, and monitor industry developments across global markets
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead B2B market sizing, forecasting, segmentation, and competitive assessments
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, technology developments, and emerging market opportunities
  • Lead generation of executive-ready reports, dashboards, newsletters, and strategic presentations
  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including customer, partner, and industry analysis
  • Support product positioning, go-to-market planning, pricing discussions, and growth initiatives
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and customer engagements to gather market and competitive intelligence
  • Build and maintain market models, competitive profiles, and strategic databases
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage junior analysts and drive continuous improvement of intelligence processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in market intelligence, market research, competitive analysis, strategy, or business insights for B2B industries
  • Experience in optical fiber, connectivity, communications, networking, data center, or related technology industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with market research databases, BI tools, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with application of strategic framework preferred
