Job description

We are a private practice optometry office in Brookhaven looking for a part-time lab technician.

Responsibilities:

-Calling in orders to our partner labs

-Measuring and marking up lenses

-Using the lab machinery to properly cut/edge lenses

-Keeping the lab area clean and clutter free

-Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting eyewear

-Contacting patients when their order is ready

Qualifications:

-Proficient in typing and computer knowledge

-Experience with edging lenses in a lab environment

-Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills

-Proactive and eager to learn

Education:

-High school or equivalent (Required)
