Our cutting-edge equipment is widely recognized in the processing of rice, grains, nuts, coffee, and seeds. We are currently seeking a skill Testing and Service Technician to join our Ripon, CA team.
Job Summary:
As a Testing and Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our optical sorting machines. Your key responsibilities will include conducting sample testing, overseeing machine installations and maintenance, and providing exceptional customer support. This position involves frequent travel for on-site demonstrations, installations, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed sample testing, evaluations, and result summaries in the lab.
- Execute on-site demonstrations, installations, training, and maintenance of color sorters and other machinery.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support via phone and internet.
- Manage trade show materials and represent AMVT LLC at industry events.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of samples, machine parts, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all service and installation activities.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Previous experience with industrial machinery testing, installation, and service is preferred.
- Degree from a vocational college or technical school in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently for on-site assignments.
