Mechanical and Electrical Engineer
 
Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: M - F
Type of crontract: Permanent
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000
 
DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to support the design and development of high-rise building projects. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC and plumbing systems for high-rise buildings, ensuring code compliance, functionality, and efficiency throughout all project phases.
 
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing power and lighting systems for high-rise buildings, with a focus on performance, safety, constructability, and alignment with project requirements.
Both roles require professionals who can work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, apply sound engineering judgment, and contribute to the successful execution of complex building design projects.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop engineering designs for high-rise building projects within the respective discipline
  • Prepare design documents, calculations, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external project stakeholders as needed
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Support project planning, design development, and documentation efforts
  • Review and refine engineering solutions to support quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Contribute to project deliverables while managing priorities and deadlines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, depending on discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • EIT or PE license preferred
  • For Mechanical Engineers: proven experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for high-rise buildings
  • For Electrical Engineers: proven experience designing power and lighting systems for high-rise buildings
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, building systems, and applicable codes
  • Experience working on complex commercial or multi-story building projects preferred
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
